Yellowstone Association  Institute

The Yellowstone Association is a non-profit, tax-exempt membership organization that works in cooperation with the National Park Service in Yellowstone to benefit the park.

The Yellowstone Association Institute is a year-round field school that has operated in cooperation with the National Park Service since 1976. The Institute features in-depth, affordable courses on the Yellowstone ecosystem, taught by experts in their fields. Courses usually last from one to five days, and class size is limited to ensure high quality instruction. Most courses are based at the Lamar Buffalo Ranch, a rustic but comfortable field campus located in the remote northeast corner of the park. Some courses are based in the backcountry, in campgrounds, or at park hotels. College credit is available. For complete information please visit our contact us.
