All-Inclusive Expedition
Discover Yellowstone's Wolves on a 6-Day, All-Inclusive Expedition
Join Yellowstone Wolf Tracker for a special in-depth experience that is sure to inspire a lifetime of memories. For over a decade, we have offered full immersion wolf watching programs: our premier, all-inclusive, 6-day vacation packages. Our flagship offerings are purposefully scheduled outside of the busy tourist season, leaving the park in solitude, for the wildlife, which equates to enhanced opportunities for wolf sightings. Group size is capped at about a dozen people, which we have found to be an ideal number for giving individual attention within a fun group dynamic.
Autumn trips feature wolf packs following the vast herds of elk and bison to the valley bottoms. Frosty mornings often give way to warm, sunny days revealing the glory of this spectacular season. Search for wolves feeding on a fresh kill, hear the iconic bugle of a bull elk in the hills, all while spotting migrating eagles, hawks, and swans overhead.
Freshly fallen snow and frigid temperatures greet the adventurous who brave Yellowstone's winter for some of the best chances of witnessing amazing wolf behavior, including the dance of predator and prey, or pack members in the throes of dramatic courtship in the annual breeding season. Is hearing wolves howling on your bucket list? Visit in winter, when the call of the wild routinely reverberates in the valleys of Yellowstone.
A rebirth happens in spring when wildlife sightings soar with the arrival of migrating animals and the waking of sleepy hibernators. Birds, bears, and rusty red bison calves appear on the greening landscape at a time when female wolves dig their dens in preparation for raising the year's pups.

We start before sunrise and spend full days (Days 3, 4, 5) in iconic Lamar Valley, using our scopes and tracker network to find wolves, bears, and bison when they are most active.
We return mid-afternoon (when wildlife is less active) for you to rest, nap, or explore the town of Gardiner before our evening program begins.
The adventure continues after dark. Enjoy catered dinners in a private space, followed by fascinating presentations from local wildlife experts — a feature unique to our program.
Arrive in Bozeman, MT and check into your pre-booked airport hotel. Your adventure begins tomorrow. Rest up — the wolves are waiting.
We'll pick you up late morning for the scenic drive to Gardiner. After lunch, we'll have an orientation on wolf recovery history before heading into the park for your first afternoon of wildlife tracking.
These are the core of your expedition. We'll be out before sunrise for three full days in the Lamar Valley and Northern Range — tracking and observing wolves, bears, bison, and more. We return mid-afternoon for rest, then reconvene for catered dinners and expert evening presentations.
Enjoy a casual breakfast with your group, sharing memories of the week. We'll then transport you back to the Bozeman airport for your flight home. Please book return flights after 12 PM.
We focus your expedition on the Northern Range, Yellowstone's wildlife-rich "Serengeti." This is where the wolves and bison thrive, giving us the best possible opportunities for incredible sightings.
From our fleet of vans to our partner hotels — your excursion is carefully planned with your comfort and convenience in mind. No roughing it required.
Wolves are almost always at a distance, far beyond the zoom of a cell phone. We provide high-powered spotting scopes and record photos through them — so you stay in the moment and still take the memory home.
All programs are 6-day, all-inclusive expeditions. Select the dates that work for you and book securely through WeTravel.
